Installation
1. Choose a mounting location Select a mounting location that provides clear visibility of the area you wish to illuminate. Avoid mounting the light in areas where the motion sensor may be triggered by non-target movement, such as trees or shrubs.
2. Mount the base plate Mark the mounting holes on the wall or ceiling. Drill pilot holes and insert the anchors (included). Align the base plate over the anchors and secure it with the screws (included).
3. Attach the light heads Thread the wires from the light heads through the center hole in the base plate. Attach the light heads to the base plate by sliding them into place and tightening the screws (included).
4. Adjust the light heads Adjust the light heads as desired to illuminate the target area. The heads can be rotated up to 180° and tilted up to 120°.
5. Connect the wires Connect the wires from the light heads to the wires from the base plate. Make sure to match the colors of the wires (black to black, white to white, and green to green). Twist the wires together and secure them with a wire nut (included).
6. Test the light Turn on the power to the light. The light should turn on and off as the motion sensor detects movement.
Operation
Motion sensor The motion sensor will automatically turn on the lights when it detects movement. The lights will stay on for a preset duration (adjustable from 5 seconds to 3 minutes). The motion sensor can be adjusted to detect movement within a range of up to 50 feet and an angle of 180°.
Dusk-to-dawn sensor The dusk-to-dawn sensor will automatically turn on the lights at dusk and off at dawn. This feature is ideal for providing security lighting at night.
Manual override The lights can be turned on or off manually by pressing the button on the base plate. This feature allows you to use the light as a regular floodlight in addition to motion-activated lighting.
Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance, it is important to clean the motion sensor lens and the light lenses regularly. Use a soft cloth dampened with water to wipe down the lenses. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
If the light bulbs need to be replaced, simply unscrew the old bulbs and replace them with new bulbs of the same type. Be sure to turn off the power before replacing the bulbs.
Troubleshooting
The lights are not turning on * Make sure the power is turned on to the light. * Check the connection between the wires. * Make sure the motion sensor is not blocked. * Check the dusk-to-dawn sensor to make sure it is set to the correct mode.
The lights are staying on all the time * Adjust the motion sensor sensitivity to reduce the range of detection. * Make sure the dusk-to-dawn sensor is set to the correct mode.
The lights are flickering * Check the connection between the wires. * Replace the light bulbs with new bulbs of the same type.
