How To Change Bulb In Outdoor Sensor Light

Changing the bulb in an outdoor sensor light is a simple task that can be completed in a few minutes. However, there are a few essential aspects to keep in mind to ensure the job is done safely and correctly.

The first step is to identify the type of bulb that is used in the sensor light. This information can usually be found on the packaging of the light or in the user manual. Once you know the type of bulb, you can purchase a replacement at your local hardware store.

Before you begin working on the light, it is important to turn off the power to the fixture. This can be done by turning off the circuit breaker or fuse that controls the light.

Once the power is off, you can remove the old bulb by unscrewing it from the socket. Be careful not to drop the bulb, as it could shatter.

Insert the new bulb into the socket and screw it in until it is snug. Do not overtighten the bulb, as this could damage the socket.

Once the new bulb is in place, you can turn the power back on and test the light to make sure it is working properly.
