How to Build an Easy Outdoor Fireplace

1. Choose a location

2. Gather your materials

Once you've chosen a location, it's time to gather your materials. You'll need the following:

Fire bricks
Mortar

3. Build the firebox

The firebox is the heart of your fireplace, so it's important to build it correctly. Start by laying a bed of gravel on the bottom of the firebox. This will help to drain any water that gets into the firebox and prevent it from freezing and cracking the concrete. Next, lay a layer of firebricks on top of the gravel. The firebricks should be laid in a herringbone pattern, which will help to distribute the heat evenly. Finally, mortar the firebricks together.

4. Build the walls
