Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Choose the Location: Determine where you want to place the outdoor lights and ensure there is a nearby outlet to plug the extension cord into.

2. Prepare the Extension Cord: Cut the extension cord to the desired length, ensuring it will reach from the outlet to the light fixtures with some slack.

3. Connect the Light Fixtures: Strip the insulation from the ends of the wires on the light fixtures. Connect the black wires together using a wire connector and wrap with electrical tape. Do the same for the white wires.

4. Connect the Extension Cord: Strip the insulation from the ends of the wires on the extension cord. Connect the black wire to the black wires on the light fixtures. Connect the white wire to the white wires on the light fixtures.

5. Secure the Connections: Wrap electrical tape around all the wire connections to ensure they are secure and waterproof.
